Discovery Station contains a large permanent ball pit that is of course a favorite of many of the children, as well as rotating exhibits. Past exhibits have included themes such as Bugs & Insects, Camping, Gymnastics, Building Blocks, Snowball Express and more! Some of the favorite exhibits are from classic childhood stories such as the beloved, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” This story comes to life using puppets and a real bear house, large forest trees and bear beds so children can explore the world of the three bears. Or travel with Max and recreate his adventure in “Where the Wild Things Are.” The excitement builds as the children travel from Max’s bedroom to the ship and eventually the island. We acquired this rare former traveling exhibit from a Children’s museum. Keep looking to see what new exhibit will be up next, or which one of your favorites will make a return!
